Germany is not comparable to Austria. Austria’s Burger King® master franchise, The Eatery Group, ensures exemplary quality standards.

Vienna (OTS/LCG) – Popular worldwide and still better regionally. In Austria, The Eatery Group is the master franchisee of Burger King®. Around half of the restaurants are run by the Austrian gastronomy expert himself, who is committed to his high quality standards across several well-known brands. In addition to Burger King®, the group of companies also operates popular brands in Germany such as Rosenberger®, Coffeeshop Company® and the new multi-brand service area concept Rosehill Foodpark®.

Around 1,000 employees work for The Eatery Group nationwide and enjoy attractive, cross-brand promotion and further training opportunities. Employee promotion and training have top priority for the gastronomy expert. In order to guarantee this, the Austrian “Burger King® Academy” was created to offer employees extensive training in labor law matters, among other things. The group of companies has long relied on close cooperation with lawyers from the Austrian Chamber of Commerce. In addition to the working time guidelines stipulated by legislation, The Eatery Group takes numerous other measures to ensure the work-life balance of its employees and offers them a secure job even in times of crisis, for example during the pandemic years.

In addition to the prescribed audits of the globally active owner of the Burger King® brand, The Eatery Group pursues additional quality controls and thus assumes a pioneering role in the Burger King® world. An example of this is the ISO 9001 certification of the group of companies, which has existed since 2017, which guarantees further transparency and unprecedented employee and guest satisfaction in Austria through external audits.

In the further development of the product range to include vegan options and meat-free alternatives, the Austrian master franchisee of the Burger King® brand works closely with employees and guests to raise high-quality enjoyment to a new, responsible level.

Suggestions for improvement, which result from day-to-day business or media reports on other markets, are always welcome from the point of view of the group of companies. The national positioning of Burger Kings® within The Eatery Group allows for rapid response. This makes the brand a European pioneer for new trends in quick service gastronomy and a sustainable training center for talent.
