Bungie, the creators of Halo and Destiny, have a new project in hand, and it’s something different than what we’re used to

Yes, Bungie may have been bought by Sony (a very big move within the industry), but they have already announced that its titles will not stop being multiplatform. And it is normal, following the success he enjoys Destiny 2 on various platforms, both companies will want to keep that.

Why am I saying this? Well, because it turns out that the study is preparing to work on a new project which should come to PC. We don’t know exactly what it is, but we do know some general details regarding what this veteran team’s next project will look like.

The information, on this occasion, comes to us through a job offer. Posted in Bungie’s own website, where it is said that they are looking for a creative director. In the offer, it is mentioned that it is a third person action project. Of course, it will surely take us a while to see the title in question.

The offer mentions that this creative director will be in charge of doing tasks such as feature lists, technical specifications and other tasks that imply that the development of the game may still be far from even beginning. Things will have to be taken slowly.

Of course, the change of genres, or rather of its execution, is also surprising. With Marathon, Halo and Destiny on his resume, Bungie has always been established as a developer of first-person shooters. It may not be a radical change, but it does show that the company wants to experiment in its next projects.
