It’s the excitement scene of the game day!
Bochum’s Konstantinos Stafylidis (28) tackles Freiburg’s Roland Sallai (24) at full speed. He brutally catches the Hungarian on the ankle and brings him crashing to the ground. Referee Sascha Stegemann rightly shows the red card.
Sallai has to be replaced a few minutes later. But Bochum’s defender still shows no remorse. Visibly laughing, he leaves the field and simply doesn’t want to accept the dismissal.
What an unsportsmanlike action!
The frustration over the 0:3 swatter is clearly noticeable in VfL. Coach Thomas Reis (48) is so upset regarding the red card that he himself is expelled from the interior.
