The BUMN Foundation announced the success of 20 social entrepreneurs as grant recipients or final tickets in the innovative program Pikiran Terbaik Negeri. Their programs are considered to contain social innovations that are believed to have an impact on people’s lives,
The program marks the BUMN Foundation’s commitment to driving solutions that can address important social issues in Indonesia, with a particular focus on the environment, maternal and child health, and mental health.
Selected innovators such as Ikanesia, Nexmedis, and Gede Jamur from various regions in Indonesia will enter an intensive bootcamp phase. The bootcamp is designed to strengthen their ability to develop projects and prepare them for presentations at the Grand Final Pitching.
“This bootcamp focuses not only on technical development, but also on business strategy and collaborative approaches, ensuring that each project has a strong foundation for success and sustainable growth,” said Chief Program & Operation of the BUMN Foundation Maya Lestari.
Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir said that the spirit of innovation is indeed very appropriate to be promoted during the month of independence.
“We celebrate the spirit of innovation that has great potential to advance the nation, and this is an opportunity to spur sustainable progress with ideas that address our social and environmental challenges,” said Erick Thohir.

He also congratulated the selected social entrepreneurs who are ready to bring significant impact to Indonesia through their hard work and brilliant ideas.
“This initiative reflects the BUMN Foundation’s commitment to advancing the economy and social welfare. These innovators, along with all those who will join us at the Grand Final Pitching event, are today’s heroes whose inspiration we will immortalize for future generations,” said Erick.
The Grand Final Pitching will take place on August 25, 2024 at Ciputra Artpreneur, Jakarta. The peak event will not only be a presentation event, but also a forum for discussion and collaboration between innovators, business leaders, and policy makers. (Z-11)
