The Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich, announced the progress of a strategic plan in conjunction with the Ministry of Defense to strengthen the fight once morest drug trafficking. Regarding the extraordinary powers requested by the president, Bullrich maintained that, given the “emergency situation, they are necessary and might be temporarily granted.”. He highlighted the possibility of reaching an agreement on this aspect during legislative discussions.

Regarding the strike called by the General Confederation of Labor (CGT) for January 24, the minister indicated that so far they have not received communication in this regard and that they will apply the corresponding rules once they receive the notice.
