Rocío San Miguel, president of Citizen Control, reported on social networks that on Wednesday night the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) deployed units of a Russian-made anti-aircraft defense system in Güiria, Sucre state.

“Residents reported on social networks today, mobilization of the BUK M2E medium-range anti-aircraft defense system, of Russian manufacture, which the Fanb has for the defense of national sovereignty,” commented San Miguel in his X account.
