Dubai, 8 October / WAM / The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai organized a qualitative program entitled “Foresight and Proactivity in Dealing with the Media” with the aim of building a strong team of senior leaders concerned with dealing with media representatives with the aim of keeping pace with the media scene locally, regionally and internationally.
The course included 12 officers and civilians from the Dubai Residency, who were honored by His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the Department, as part of the comprehensive strategy pursued by the Department to enhance the ability and efficiency of job cadres and their skills in dealing with the media in an effective and influential manner, which contributes to enhancing transparency and building relationships. It is strong through the training courses and specialized programs it adopts, in addition to making employees happy, consolidating professionalism, and developing and empowering cadres in the media.
His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohammed Al Marri stressed that the skills courses for dealing with the media are considered one of the important tools in developing the capabilities and skills of officers, and enhancing their understanding of how to deal with the media in an institutional and effective manner, noting that honoring the participants in this course reflects the interest of the Dubai Residency in developing the capabilities of the cadres and enhancing their skills. In this field, highlighting their achievements and devoting their excellence to achieve greater success and excellence.
He added that honoring achievements comes within the framework of supporting the establishment of Dubai and its continuous encouragement to develop the skills of its functional cadres, stressing the importance of investing in developing personal capabilities and skills, to raise the level of performance and achieve management objectives effectively, in line with the directives and visions of the wise leadership, and ensuring the development of the expertise and experience of national competencies in the fields. all.
The training program aimed to enhance the practices of official speakers in establishing Dubai as a strategic priority, aiming to empower participants with the arts of speaking, provide them with the skills of a media speaker, introduce them to the mechanisms of media interviews, and public speaking, as well as enhance the official spokesman’s confidence in his abilities and leave a positive image, in addition to training them on how to Effective institutional dealing with the media, through a number of axes.
