From the partial shutdown of activity in 2020 to the spectacular inflationary surge – something never seen in forty years! – our socio-economic system has been profoundly stressed by brutal and successive “shocks”. Gathered within the Central Economic Council, the umbrella body for social consultation in our country, the social partners wanted, in their Employment-Competitiveness 2023 report, to draw lessons – in particular, to analyze the impact of the energy crisis on households, businesses and public budgets.
