BenQ collaborates with Focal Powered by Naim Indonesia to present a talk show with the theme “Audio-Visual and Design Integration” in the series of Indonesia Design Week (IDW) 2024.
This talk show is packed with education in exploring audio and video solutions that can enrich design in various fields, from architecture to user experience.
The speakers were architect Ren Katili who is the Principal of Studio ArchitecttropiS, Imelda (Marketing Director of Focal powered by Naim Indonesia), and Erlina (Business Development Manager of BenQ Indonesia).
The focus of the discussion is how combining sound, visual and design elements can enhance storytelling, engage audiences and create immersive experiences. In an increasingly digital world, understanding this integration is critical for professionals looking to push the boundaries of creativity.

“When designing a space, it is important to consider how sound interacts with visual elements. With proper planning, we can create an atmosphere that supports an immersive audio-visual experience, whether in a home cinema or other entertainment space,” said Ren Katili.
Apart from space elements, layout, light control, audio and materials, projectors play a very important role in supporting technology integration that can create the ultimate immersive home cinema room that users dream of.
BenQ’s latest, most premium projector to date is the W5800 4K, which comes with a super wide CinematicColor 100% DCI-P3 and 100% Rec.709 color space delivering precise colors to perfectly preserve what the director envisioned.
This true 4K projector is capable of producing 8.3 million pixels in total. Reproduce the image according to the artist’s wishes. Coupled with dynamic black technology which makes the contrast of dark and light more vivid.
Port support is complete, including dual HDMI 2.0b (HDCP 2.2), two USB Type A, SPDIF, and eARC which enables 7.1 channel and Dolby Atmos audio, transmitting audio at full native resolution without any changes to the sound system via a single HDMI cable.
1.6x optical motorized zoom allows easy adjustment of the projector’s projection ratio for flexible screen placement. The BenQ W5800 uses 2D lens shift (±50% vertical and ±21% horizontal) to produce perfectly straight images without losing resolution.
