In some environments updated to Windows 11 version 22H2,There have been reports of poor game performance, such as lower frame rate (fps) and stuttering than Windows 11 21H2.

Game performance worsens with Windows 11 22H2

Bug reports by users

  • Game performance has deteriorated since Windows 11 22H2. Such as fps drops and stutters. I fixed it by rolling back.
  • Windows11 22H2 really sucks for gaming. Depending on the game, CPU usage drops from 80% to 5%, or severe stuttering occurs. Reverting to the previous version worked fine.
  • I’m also experiencing low CPU usage, large lags and stutters. Gamers should not update to 22H2.
  • I’m also having severe stuttering while playing the game. I’m using the latest configuration: Core i9-12900K / RTX 3080 Ti. Windows 11 21H1 worked fine without such a thing.
