On the set of the SeneNews TV show “Sans Détour”, the spotlight was on an innovative initiative that is changing the way young people in Senegal participate in the management of public finances: the Youth Budget Clubs. BudgiT, the organization dedicated to budget transparency, was invited to the event to present the milestones of this ambitious project while sharing challenges and prospects for the future. The Youth Budget Clubs initiative was born in 2023 under the leadership of BudgiT, in a context where young people are almost absent from the management of public finances.
