On March 21, the Board of Directors of the World Bank was due to examine its new cooperation strategy with Tunisia for the period 2023-2027. The meeting was postponed indefinitely following the decision of the President of the World Bank Group, David Malpass, to interrupt its work in Tunisia. The leader was moved by the racist violence that followed the speech of the President of the Republic Tunisian, Kaïs Saïed, once morest the Sub-Saharans on February 21.
