100 meters long, five and a half meters high with a maximum speed of 36 kilometers per hour, which gives a travel time of almost exactly 30 seconds. The key data of the “Bucklbahn” is much easier to put into words than the driving pleasure. It doesn’t miss out – also thanks to the good idea of adding one for the “Bucklbiest” to the two wagons of the “Bucklbahn” – wagon number three drives the three laps that comprise a journey backwards by default.

Despite the numerous attractions – slide tower, ice age journey, milkshaker – they had the feeling that the adventure park lacked a landmark, said Andrea and Georg Blochberger: “With the Bucklbahn and the bell tower, which can be seen from afar, we have succeeded in creating such a landmark. The track is not only great fun for children from the age of 3 and 90 centimeters tall, but also a symbol for the hilly landscape of the Bucklige Welt.”

With the Eis-Greissler and the ever-growing adventure park, which had 200,000 visitors last year, the Blochberger family managed to make Krumbach a household name far beyond the region, said Mayor Christian Stacherl (ÖVP): “If you say today, you comes from Krumbach, the answer is often: ‘Ah, there, where the Eis-Greissler is.'”
Three generations of the Blochberger family completed the first trip – Andrea, Georg, Leonie, Fabian and Franz, a former regional councilor – together with local boss Stacherl, who immediately tackled the route backwards.
