Buckingham Palace: Doctors are concerned about the Queen’s health

The palace said in a statement "Following further assessment this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned regarding Her Majesty’s health and have recommended that she remain under medical supervision".

The 96-year-old queen has been suffering from health problems since October last year, which made her difficult to walk and stand. The palace added in a statement that "The Queen is still comfortable and at Balmoral".

The announcement comes following the Queen withdrew from the virtual Privy Council on Wednesday, as doctors advised her to rest.

A spokesperson for the royal palace said: "After a busy day yesterday, Her Majesty this followingnoon accepted the doctors’ advice to rest. This means that another date will be set for the meeting of the Queen’s private council that was scheduled to take place this evening.

And on Tuesday, she metQueen Elizabeth who resides at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, with Liz Terrace, for her appointment as the new Prime Minister following she greeted Boris Johnson to accept his resignation.
