The 75-year-old monarch has stayed out of the public eye since his battle with cancer was announced in February, with many suggesting he is trying to hide his declining condition, with multiple sources telling The Daily Beast that the situation is not “good”.

On the other hand, King Charles has never revealed what kind of cancer he has been diagnosed with and has been trying to keep quiet all this time.

However, behind the scenes, King Charles’s aides regularly review plans for his royal funeral, dubbed Operation Menai Bridge.

“Plans are being actively kept up to date. Since the king has been diagnosed with cancer we have to stay focused just in case,” a former royal official with ties to the servants told The Daily Beast.

Also, note that all members of the royal family have up-to-date plans for their funeral categorized by bridge-based codes. For example the plan for Queen Elizabeth’s funeral was called Operation London Bridge.

King Charles’ death plan is named after the suspension bridge that connects the island of Anglesey to mainland Wales.
