On the 13th, at 6:00 pm, the auction of Jungkook’s car Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen AMG G63 Edition, which was held at BLACKLOT, an online auction site affiliated with Seoul Auction, was closed. Among them, the final winning bid was set at 1.2 billion won. This is the highest amount since the launch of Black Lot.
The auction, which started last month, was originally stopped two hours before the deadline. At the time, the blacklot side confirmed the bidding history of a large number of unknown foreigners, and thus stopped the auction. At the time of suspension, the highest bid was 420 million won. After that, the auction started once more from the 6th.
The car in question is a Mercedes-Benz G-Class AMG G63 Edition that Jungkook purchased in his name in September 2019, and it is said that he owned it for more than two years and then transferred it to a collector. The price of a new car is regarding 230 million won.
The starting price of the auction was 150 million won, but it was sold at 1.2 billion won, regarding 8 times higher than the starting price, giving a glimpse of Jungkook’s extraordinary popularity.
