BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Jakarta Grogol together with BTN socializes the benefits of additional services (MLT) Construction Credit, in Jakarta. The socialization packaged in the Customer Gathering activity is one of them to encourage companies engaged in the construction services sector to take advantage of MLT Construction Credit from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.
“In this activity we provide an update on the benefits of additional construction credit services from BTN. We have a partnership with BTN for participants to get construction credit with us helping to subsidize some of the interest,” said Head of the Jakarta Grogol BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Office Rommi Irawan.
Rommi said that his party is ready to serve participants who apply for MLT Construction Credit. According to Rommi, there are four types of MLT that can be utilized by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participants.
Among others, home ownership credit (KPR), housing down payment loans (PUMP), housing renovation loans (PRP), and housing financing facilities for workers/construction credit (FPPP/KK) for construction service companies or developers.
For PUMP, the maximum is IDR150 million. Then PRP is a maximum of IDR200 million, KPR is a maximum of IDR500 million, and Construction Credit is as determined by MLT.
This MLT is very beneficial for participants. In addition to interest subsidies, interest rates are applied lower than commercial mortgage rates. Likewise, the choice of longer tenors, which can be up to 30 years.

To receive these benefits, participants must have been registered as BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participants in the formal group or wage earners (PU) for at least one year.
In addition, at least three programs are registered, including Old Age Security (JHT), Occupational Health Security (JKK), Death Security (JKM), and actively paying contributions.
During the Customer Gathering activity, Deputy Branch of BTN Kebon Jeruk Branch, Deddy Arnanto, explained the technical aspects of submitting KPR and MLT BPJS Ketenagakerjaan construction credit.

On the other hand, Rommi said that MLT KPR/KPA and MLT Construction Credit are a form of appreciation for employees and companies that comply with the rules and are orderly in paying BPJS Employment contributions and administration.
So far, his party has continued to encourage construction service companies to register all development projects with BPJS Employment.
Rommi emphasized that the protection of construction service workers applies from the time the company receives a work order (SPK) from the project service user.

After registering, construction service companies are required to pay BPJS Employment contributions.
“This contribution payment can be paid off immediately or in installments per term. This adjusts the project payment which usually applies to term one, term two, or term three,” said Rommi.
Although contributions in the construction sector are relatively cheap, Rommi reminds people not to be late or in arrears in paying contributions.
“This is related to the protection system in the Jamsostek program referring to active participation. If in arrears, the system is disrupted or the benefit services cannot be used immediately,” said Rommi.
But if the contribution and administration are orderly then everything will be safe. If a work accident occurs the company does not need to spend a penny and workers who experience risks are handled well.
“All medical needs are met and all liabilities are taken care of by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, the value of which is unlimited, meaning there is no ceiling or upper limit on financing and no time limit for recovery,” Rommi stressed. (RO/Z-10)
