BSE: “Vote of confidence” from businesses in DYPA – 2024-07-23 11:32:06

A significant increase in the percentage of businesses that declare themselves satisfied with the services of the Public Employment Service (PYPA) compared to previous years is recorded in the annual business opinion survey “The Pulse of Business”, conducted for 2023 by the Association of Businesses and Industries ( BSE).

Specifically, according to the findings of the research, in the section where the degree of satisfaction of businesses with the quality of services provided by public bodies/services is reflected, the percentage of businesses that evaluates the services of DOUBLE amounts to 45%.

The specific percentage appears particularly increased compared to the previous years, when in 2022 it was at 33.8%, in 2021 at 25% and in 2020 at 15.6%. That is, within four years, the satisfaction rate almost tripled, recording an increase of 188%.

As stated in a related announcement, the research, which was carried out by the BSE for the seventh consecutive year, identifies and analyzes the critical issues related to the daily operation, but also to the development perspective of businesses.

According to iefimerida, on the occasion of the publication of the results of the investigation, the commander of DYPA, Spyros Protopsaltis, said:

“The results of the BSE survey fill us with particular satisfaction, since, as reflected in the findings, almost half of Greek businesses give a strong “vote of confidence” to DYPA’s services, almost tripling the satisfaction rate in just four years.

We are satisfied, but not complacent. These very encouraging results, on the one hand, motivate us to continue working intensively and purposefully, with the aim of effectively supporting the unemployed, workers and businesses, and on the other hand, they increase our responsibility to respond more and more effectively to their needs.

With this compass we will continue, constantly monitoring developments in the economy, with the aim of better harmonizing our actions in the field of matching supply and demand in the labor market.

DYPA is evolving into a key pillar of employment support, but also into a strategic ally of businesses, which now recognize us as a reliable partner.”
