On Thursday, the PGA Tour suspended 17 golfers for participating in LIV Golf, warning that golfers playing in that show face the same penalties.
Following reports of their impending exit from the PGA Tour, Rocket Mortgage announced they have ended their sponsorship deal with world number 28 DeChambeau.
“Rocket Mortgage has been a long-time sponsor of the PGA TOUR. Both from our role as official partner and as tournament host,” company spokesman Aaron Emerson said in a statement on Thursday.

“Rocket Mortgage Classic quickly became a regular on the Tour, with players coming to Detroit to compete while raising significant funds to help bridge the digital gap in our city.
“Our partnership with the PGA TOUR has expanded to include a number of well-known golfers, including Bryson DeChambeau as Rocket Mortgage brand ambassador. Joining the LIV Golf Series effective immediately, Rocket Mortgage has terminated its sponsorship agreement with Bryson. We wish him all the best in his future.”
DeChambeau might make his debut at the series event in Portland, Oregon on June 30.
