Ramadan Utsar can be seen firing the gun seven times in quick succession, Mete falls to the ground and tries to escape, when he then remains motionless for a while. The footage shows one of the people in the area trying to stop Utsar and the people inside running in panic.
Police and medical teams rushed to the spot as soon as they were alerted. During the examination it was found that Mete had lost his life. Utsar, who fled after the incident, was arrested by the police a short time later.

Turkish media reports that there was a long-standing feud between the two men in the arms trade.
Utsar’s post on his social media account: “No one should underestimate anyone. A bullet is small, but it takes your breath away,” he drew attention before the killing.

Ramazan Utser, who was brought to court, reportedly claimed in his first statement to the police: “Mete was blackmailing me. In the past he had taken 50 thousand Turkish lira but he did not return it to me. When he came to the restaurant on the day of the incident, he said to me: “I will eat and drink here today, but you will pay the bill.”
