A pitbull breed dog, after escaping from a house, tobrutally attacked a six-year-old boy on the leg this last Friday, in the city of Santa Rosa, La Pampa. As a result of the attack, the minor was transferred to a health post and later referred to the Lucio Molas Hospital, where next Monday it will be defined if it will be operated or not.
According to Marcos, the father of the attacked child, to the local newspaper Plab B, everything happened when he and his brother-in-law and his children went to visit a piece of land to make a budget to cut the grass, located on Telén street, between Utracán and Eduardo Castex.
In that sector, a neighbor lost control of her pitbull dog, who managed to jump over the fence of the property where she was and went directly to bite the six-year-old boy. «He bit him and shook him and filled his muzzle with blood“, moved, the victim’s father told local media.
In the midst of desperation, they tried to separate the dog from the child, which the minor’s uncle was finally able to achieve. After the attack, the dog ran away, while the little he suffered serious injuries to his leg, to the point “that the bone was visible”, as revealed by his dad.
Immediately, health personnel were notified to go with an ambulance to the place, but according to what the witnesses recounted, unit took over an hour to arrive.
