The Brussels Winter Wonders Christmas tree was cut down on Wednesday morning. This is a 50 year old spruce tree from the garden of a couple in Lierre. He will arrive in the capital on Thursday. The tree is 22 meters high.

It will be installed between 6:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on the Grand-Place next to the traditional life-size nativity scene (under construction), following being transported by special convoy.
