A 30-year-old was stabbed during a fight in the night from Friday to Saturday, at the height of the crossroads formed by the quai aux Foins which extends the rue des Echelles and the rue de Laeken, in the Alhambra district, near the theater Royal Flemish and the Yser metro station, in the city center of Brussels. “On Saturday May 27, 2023, at around 2:45 a.m., the Brussels Capital / Ixelles police zone was called to Quai au Foin, in Brussels, for a fight. On the spot, the police noted a man on the ground, injured following a fight between several people. Emergency services were immediately called. The 37-year-old victim was taken to hospital. His days are not in danger”, indicates this Sunday the parquet floor of Brussels.
No arrest
And the Brussels public prosecutor’s office added: “A judicial exclusion perimeter was then put in place in order to preserve the traces useful to the investigation. Notified of the facts, the Deputy Crown Prosecutor ordered the first investigation duties, namely the hearing of witnesses, the viewing of images from video surveillance cameras and the intervention of the laboratory of the Federal Judicial Police. The investigation is continuing and, in its interest, the prosecution will not make any further comments on this case”.
