On Wednesday followingnoon, the police in the Brussels-Capital Ixelles area arrested two people suspected of having committed a violent robbery the same morning in Parc Maximilien, near Avenue de l’Héliport in Brussels.

The police had been called for a fight between several people. Once there, the police noted the presence of a victim, injured in the head. The other people involved were no longer present. The victim said he was doused with liquid, causing burning pain in his eyes. After being questioned regarding the origin of the watch, the suspect claimed to have received it from another individual, also present in the park. The two suspects were transferred to the police station for questioning. A suspect has been made available to the Brussels public prosecutor’s office. An investigating judge was seized who placed the person under arrest warrant.
