Another perspective, the end of major works on the Brussels-Luxembourg line is becoming clearer. It is not for tomorrow but by 2029. “We shortened the duration of the project by two years, said François Bausch, Luxembourg Minister of Transport, which will allow us, from 2029, to shorten travel time by almost an hour!” It will take 2h10, when all goes well, between the two capitals. A steering committee has been set up so that these intentions are brought to fruition whatever happens. The two ministers still have at least a few weeks to work in tandem but in our Luxembourg neighbors, the legislative elections are scheduled for this Sunday, October 8 and next June here. While waiting for all these deadlines, commuters will have to continue to be patient.
