If you are flying in the next few days, you risk losing a lot of time looking for a parking space at Brussels airport. There are hardly any available. All car parks at Brussels Airport are saturated as the spring holidays start this Friday. What are the alternatives to get to the airport?

14,000 parking spaces and not a single free one in sight. You have to turn, turn a lot to find, and when a place becomes free, it does not remain vacant for very long. “I thought we had a place directly, but it’s a big problem. I don’t know the reason”says a traveler.

This Thursday morning throughout the airport, only 200 to 300 seats are free, and many travelers have found their own solution. “We struggled. On the site, we saw that the P2 was available, but when we arrived, everything was complete. The cars are quite badly parked”, reports a traveler. “Even on weekdays, it was packed”says another person.

In reality, this period corresponds with the Dutch holidays. The proof with a strong presence of vehicles registered in the Netherlands.

The situation should not improve anytime soon, if you are going on vacation this weekend, Brussels Airport advises to reserve your parking space on the airport website. If possible, take public transport such as the bus or train.
