On Monday, a Brussels Airlines flight from Madrid to Brussels experienced a problem with the air conditioning system, Het Laatste Nieuws reported.
According to the daily, a passenger even fainted while the plane was still on the ground. The heat would have been such that several people say they have been sick.
The plane would have remained on the ground in these conditions for an hour and a half before the pilot made the decision to take off.
This situation is explained by a problem “with the system which activates the air conditioning when the engines are off”, explained the spokesperson for Brussels Airlines Joëlle Neeb at the microphone of HLN.
