Bruno Mars returned to Mexico City in 2024 to offer three concerts at the renovated Foro Sol – now known as the GNP Seguros Stadium. The singer debuted the new stage with a great show on Thursday, August 8, where he made a musical tour of his most successful songs and surprised his capital fans with ‘El sonidito’.

As expected, social media was flooded with the best moments of the concert, as well as messages of affection for the interpreter of songs such as ‘Talking to the moon’ or ‘Locked out of heaven’. Among these publications, one in particular stood out, it is a video where the famous singer appears dressed as a mariachi in the streets of CDMX.

“Our informant told us that Bruno Mars is three blocks away and of course the workers left their meeting to see him,” said TikTok user @aleherrera1803 while driving to the place where Bruno Mars was supposedly located.

To the surprise of many, the rumors were true, as Bruno Mars was outside a yellow-fronted house wearing a white outfit and a mariachi hat, along with a group of apparent dancers wearing tricolor huipils and red mariachi hats; they were all recording a video.

The fans were unable to get close to the singer because he was protected by his security team, but they were able to film him from a distance.

The video went viral on social media, where several Internet users lashed out at the fans for not ‘wasting’ their opportunity, while others compared the 38-year-old international star to none other than Pedro Fernández.

– “Imagine that you watch a video and it’s Bruno outside your house recording a video dressed as a mariachi hahaha very random.”

– “Why didn’t they come out and kiss him?”

– “I knew he would dress as a mariachi because in Brazil and Tokyo he did his opening according to the country.”

– “I would have gone crazy to hug him.”

– “It was Pedro Fernandez.”

– “I’m dying, if I see him I would run to hug him.”

This is not the first time that Mexican Internet users have compared Bruno Mars to the Mexican regional singer, as they claim that they share several physical characteristics.
