This Monday, we informed you that a wanted notice had been launched by the West Flanders public prosecutor’s office concerning two men who raped a 21-year-old young woman, in Bruges, on the night of October 7 to 8, 2022.

Our colleagues from Newspaper inform us that the Bruges police have already received a lot of useful information as part of the investigation into the rape of a young woman.

The police recently released an investigation report and Farouk also dedicated an episode to the rape. And it seems to be paying off. “We have already received around 25 useful pieces of information,” says Lien Depoorter, spokesperson for the local police.
The victim, whom we will call Sofie (not her real name, Editor’s note) was returning home by bike following attending a meeting of a youth movement. A man blocked his way at the bus stop located near a sports complex. Another man then appeared. The individuals dragged the young woman to a remote area where there was a pétanque court, and raped her. The first immediately disappeared, while the second, who last raped the victim, remained by her side for a few more hours. The young woman only woke up a few hours later and decided to seek help immediately
Personal description
The two men, aged between 25 and 30, have white skin and are approximately 1.70 meters tall. They both spoke Dutch with a West Flemish accent. The victim also recognized the smell of Invictus perfume from the Paco Rabanne brand in the second suspect, who was wearing dark clothes and light shoes.
