The frist attack unfolded at 3:15 p.m. near East 147th Street and Willis Avenue. A 32-year-old man was walking when a stranger approached, brandishing a sharp object, and slashed him across the face. Just 45 minutes later, a 51-year-old man became the target, attacked in front of 506 Bergen Avenue, suffering slashes to his ear and face.
