Where will Bronny James play once he is old enough to go to college? This is a question that is becoming more and more important, already because we are talking regarding LeBron’s son and then because it will allow everyone to have a better idea of the true potential of the boy. In recent days, Bronny made his first visit to Ohio State, and he even posed in college colors.
Bronny James assures that he has not yet made a decision regarding his future, but it still looks very much like it. And Ohio State might be the college of choice for LeBron’s son for the next big step in his career. You’ve probably seen Bronny and his famous daron on the sidelines during the big game of Foot US between Ohio State and Notre Dame this weekend, and well know that it was not just to encourage the Buckeyes. The James family mainly went for a walk on the campus located in Columbus to take the temperature regarding a potential arrival at Ohio State for the 2023-24 season, following Bronny’s senior year of high school at Sierra Canyon. Obviously knowing LeBron’s roots with Ohio, it’s not really a surprise but the buzz is total. Buzz who took on an extra dimension this Tuesday evening when we saw the son James pose with the colors of the Buckeyes, both alone but also in the company of his dad and his mom Savannah. The hashtag #notcommited is important because it indicates that nothing is official yet at the time of this writing, but when it comes to teasing a future engagement with OSU, we’re not bad.

Unless Bronny poses with the colors of all the universities he will meet in the future. Ohio State was the first visit, but probably not the last knowing that several universities are in the ranks of the young nugget. Among them ? UCLA, Michigan, Oregon or even USC if we are to believe recruitment specialist for ESPN Paul Biancardi. The mystery therefore remains whole for the moment but it seems clear now that Bronny will choose the path of the NCAA before attempting the big jump in the NBA in 2024. Today, more and more possibilities are offered to prospects when they come out of high school, from college basketball to the G League to overseas opportunities. Bronny seems to be going down the path that can be considered traditional, and that his dad never took since LeBron obviously skipped the NCAA box to land immediately in the big leagues at the age of 18 years old. Seeing Bronny wearing the colors of Ohio State clearly has something to do with dad James, who might very well have represented the Buckeyes two decades ago if the one-and-done rule existed at the time.
Direction Ohio State for Bronny James? Nothing official yet, but rumors are obviously swirling following the release of these photos. Somehow, LeBron’s long-awaited choice of son will be like The Decision but in miniature, and we can’t wait to see where Bronny takes his talents following high school.
