Already weighed down by multiple injuries this season, LaMelo Ball is going back to the infirmary… The Charlotte point guard has ( once more) injured his ankle, his 2022-23 season is probably over.
And go! Yet another dose of seum for the poor Hornets! As the team began to regain color, lightning struck Charlotte. In great shape for a few games, LaMelo Ball has seen his old demons come back to haunt him. Subscriber to ankle injuries this season, Lonzo’s brother unfortunately experienced a new misfortune. As he tried to dribble past Killian Hayes in the third quarter, the point guard collapsed. An injury all the more worrying because there is no contact.

If nothing is yet official as to the duration of his recovery, it seems complicated to imagine him returning this season and, given his health record, he will be happy to forget this one. It’s a real tile for the Hornets, who signed a fifth straight win last night. Without their leader, the Hornets have a record of 7 wins for 20 losses this season. Suffice to say that the end of this 2022-23 financial year promises to be long and complicated for Steve Clifford and his gang, more than ever in the race for the Draft (Victor Wembanyama). LaMelo Ball, meanwhile, will try to recover as well as possible to attack 100% next season, with the hope that the injuries leave him a little quiet this time around.
Still injured in the ankle, LaMelo Ball will have lived a nightmare this season. Charlotte fans definitely have no right to happiness.
