The organization Frente Amplio Profesional (FAP-Salud) of Venezuela asked on Tuesday to doctors and nurses and the country’s unions that this year denounce and exert pressure in the face of the precarious working conditions that also affect citizens.
«For the experts of the FAP-Health, the beginning of this 2022 imposes that all the workers of the health sector and the unions that group them focus on integrating more to denounce and take action once morest the dramatic situation in which they live and the precarious conditions in their workplaces, which affects citizens in an accentuated way, “said the organization in a Press release.
The Broad Front questioned that health workers who look following the health of citizens and have been the most exposed to the pandemic by covid-19 receive remuneration that does not allow them to have the most basic things to be able to support themselves as well as their families.
For this reason, he urged the same health workers to carry out a thorough and comprehensive diagnosis of the country’s hospital network, and gather information, in order to report.
“We know that the conditions to carry out a work of this magnitude have limitations, because the government of Nicolás Maduro will do whatever it takes to prevent it,” warned the FAP-Salud.
However, he indicated that health workers must appeal to their ingenuity and determination to do so, because Venezuelan citizens must know what the real situation is in hospitals, despite the fact that hundreds of thousands know regarding it.
“We refer to those who have had to go to a hospital and find that there are no supplies and that the diagnostic devices, as well as the treatments, do not work, which puts their lives at high risk,” he explained.
For this reason, the specialists grouped in the Frente Amplio asked their colleagues to take this proposal very seriously, which translates into the fight for the health of Venezuelans and to enforce the mandate of the Constitution in terms of labor remuneration for all workers from the country.
