With 73% of women in the audience, Brive Festival plays the “girly” card, from the programming to the cocktails served in the refreshments.
The number stands out: 73% festival-goers are festival-goers. Women who come mostly with friends, and without their husbands.
One of them testifies: “Is am here with my girlfriends, because girlfriends are life! I love this festival, there is a great atmosphere…”
Look side: neither baggy nor backpack. In this urban festival, the girls are on their 31. A frequentation which is also felt on consumption: fewer beers, more cocktails.
The bar manager explains: “The spritz, the mojito, it’s products phares. The female audience wants more healthyto eat vegetarian, vegan… This impacts the choice of our service providers on the part food trucks.”
A female and family festival: here, mothers gladly come with their children.
And the programming owes nothing to chance with artists skilfully chosen by Stéphane Canarias: “When we program, we try to meet the expectations of our audience. That’s why we often find Julien Doré, Clara, but also Calogero or Mathieu Chedid.”
