During an interview for SLAM Wrestling, Britt Baker answered a question regarding her past opinion of Thunder Rosa and whether time has changed her mind.
“I stand by everything I said because I still have the same questions. You travel everywhere for other projects, but you don’t come to do your job where you are the champion? That’s the question I ask myself. I want to know why. I ask this question because I am very passionate and protective of AEW. Anyone can rightly or wrongly call me a tyrant, but I stick with it and this question is still unanswered to this day. People like Adam Cole would have killed to be able to come to work, but it was impossible for him to move. It’s not like he’s going to do a book signing or a convention or a seminar. These people don’t come to work, but he (Adam Cole) couldn’t even get out of the house.”
During the May 10, 2023 episode of Dynamite, Thunder Rosa made her return to television with a small appearance where she announced that she wanted to speak with Tony Khan.

I wouldn’t even mind having a partner and going up against them at some point. Gisele Shaw, she has a bad behavior, I will have to take care of her very quickly. I would like to participate in mixed matches. I know they do it there. I am excited by all the possibilities available to me. I know there are a lot of other girls that I’ve overlooked, but hopefully I can work with or face everyone at some point.”
