The Briton prevails in the men’s final. For women, Hannah Roberts wins.

After his second run, in which Kieran Reilly had delivered a terrific performance, patience was required from the Briton. On the one hand, there were several athletes following him. On the other hand, it started raining before the last two cracks might enter the park.

The victory of the 22-year-old only became a fact following the second run by Logan Martin (AUS), Olympic champion and defending champion. The jury took a long time before announcing Martin’s rating. His 95.30 points meant second place – Reilly, who scored 95.80 points, broke out in cheers along with his entourage. Nick Bruce of the USA took bronze (93.90).

Hannah Roberts triumphed in the women’s category. The American scored 91.04 points on her first run. No other athlete came close to this mark, so the 21-year-old didn’t even compete for her second attempt.

Behind them were five Chinese women. Silver went to Sibei Sun and bronze to Huimin Zhou.
