A man who previously had an affair with singer Britney Spears has accused her of stalking her following attending her wedding uninvited.
Jason Alexander, 40, who has been married to Spears for 55 hours, has pleaded not guilty to charges including parasitism, battery and vandalism.
Alexander was arrested last week following allegedly destroying the gate and broadcasting a video from Spears and Wissam Asgari’s wedding.
Alexander was Britney’s childhood friend, and he married her for a very short time in 2004.
The wedding of Spears, aged 40, and Asghari, 28, was held in a friendly atmosphere in California last week, but the celebration was disrupted when Alexander raided the place and police came to arrest him following allegedly smashing the entrance gate, and he broadcast a video from inside the party before he It is controlled by the security forces.
He had posted on Instagram a broadcast in which he said he had come to “smash the party”.
Alexander appeared in the video entering Spears’ house looking for her, and then entering a place where roses were displayed. He claimed that Spears invited him, saying, “She’s my first wife, my only wife.”
A police spokesman said: “He managed to enter the house and was confronted by the security personnel, and an argument occurred with them during which something was broken, which justifies the accusation of vandalism, as well as the accusation of entering the property of others without permission.”
The judge set the bail for Alexander at $100,000, and ordered him not to approach Spears for more than a hundred yards for three years.
The accused attended the hearing by default.
Spears’ wedding, which continued despite the incident, was attended by dignitaries such as Madonna, Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez and Barry Moore.
The star was relieved of 13 years of legal guardianship last November, during which her father controlled many aspects of her life.
It is reported that her father, mother and sister were not present at the wedding as she had a disagreement with them regarding legal guardianship.
Spears met her new husband, who is a personal trainer, while filming one of her videos. Before that, she was married to dancer Kevin Federline from 2004 to 2007.
