Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have made it official. The couple married on Thursday, June 9, in a ceremony at their fabulous home in Thousand Oaks, Los Angeles.
The singer met the actor and fitness expert in October 2016 on the set of his Slumber Party music video, when Sam was cast as her love partner for the clip. Her photo was one of many that pop star had to select. She chose it as soon as she saw it. ‘I didn’t have to audition,’ Sam mentions. ‘It was an instant crush.’
A few months passed and then Britney found Sam’s number in her bag. ‘I thought: he is very handsome. This guy is really cute,’ he told a radio host in 2017. ‘So then I called him, and ever since… he’s a really funny, funny person.’
Spears made their relationship official on Instagram on New Year’s Day 2017, posting a photo of her and Sam at dinner. To plan their wedding, the couple sat down with celebrity event creator Jeffrey Best of Best Events. “We really wanted to make this a beautiful little moment with our family and closest friends,” Britney tells Vogue. ‘We wanted warm, feminine colours, like melon, white, cream and gold, and lots of shades of pinks, oranges and reds’, the florist was from Marks Garden and looked like something out of the pages of a fairy tale.

The blaze of the bride it was further enhanced by the jewelry she donned to walk down the aisle. Britney’s pieces weighed 62 carats and were from the celebrity jeweler, Stephanie Gottlieb. Her look included pear and round diamond earrings, a white gold heart-shaped diamond necklace, and an oval diamond tennis bracelet.
The couple also tasked Stephanie with creating their wedding bands, with Britney choosing a beautiful stack of two bands to match her engagement ring, while Sam chose two platinum bands.

The couple didn’t have a first dance, but Selena Gomez, Madonna and girlfriend danced together to Toxic, followed by Paris and Britney singing Stars Are Blind.
