British woman fried her pet and ate it with her daughter… I found out why

A British woman who turned a rooster that she raised as a pet into chicken by frying it in oil is causing controversy.

According to the British media Daily Star on the 20th, Meghan Schmidt recently posted on her Instagram, “Hey-hei, the rooster in my backyard, attacked the baby.”

“I was lucky. If it had been half an inch closer, my daughter would have lost an eye,” said Meghan. In the accompanying photo, her daughter was attacked by a chicken and suffered wounds on her forehead, around her eyes and on her neck.

Meghan then posted a photo of her daughter cooking and eating shredded chicken nuggets in a frying pan. She wrote, “Hey hey nugget.” Heihei, a pet chicken, was killed and fried.

Megan’s post has been shared more than 56,000 times and received more than 16,000 comments. Netizens’ reactions to Meghan’s post were mixed.

Some netizens criticized Megan for killing the chicken, saying, “What did you do until the chicken attacked your daughter?” Other netizens defended, saying, “Even chickens must pay for attacking children.”
