British novelist Jack Higgins dies aged 92

Jack Higgins died at his home in Jersey, surrounded by his family. Jack Higgins wrote over 85 books between 1959 and 2017, mostly thrillers, and has sold over 250 million books worldwide.

One of his best-known books is undoubtedly “The Eagle Has Flown”, which deals with a Nazi plot set up during World War II to kidnap Winston Churchill. This work had been the subject of a film adaptation by director John Sturges.
