In a recent interview with YouTube channel ‘Intercom’, Chris Martin mentioned the song and said that ‘Church’ is the second song from his album.

‘I was working on someone else’s song which was great. Then suddenly this song came from heaven. It only took four minutes, but it took two and a half years to record.’
