Billionaire spokesman Sir Jim Ratcliffe told The Times (UK) yesterday (January 17, UK time): “We have officially participated in this process (buying MU)”. Sir Ratcliffe is the first party to publicly confirm that it will participate in the race to buy MU. It is expected that many parties will be interested in and participate in the race to take over the Old Trafford team from the Glazer family.
Many information shows that MU’s owner change process can be completed by the end of this season. Last November, the Glazer Family announced that they were “beginning the process of exploring strategic alternatives” for United. The Glazers can sell the entire MU club or call on others to invest.
Since taking over at Old Trafford in 2005, the Glazer family has always been a source of anger in the Red Devils fan community. MU fans have repeatedly made protests calling for the Glazers to leave MU in recent years.

Commercial Bank Raine was tasked with overseeing the buying and selling process of Manchester United. More investors will be brought to the “light” in the near future.
