Body not found for 37 years
Brit kills wife and throws her in manure pit
This act has it all: An Englishman (89) killed his wife and then hid her in a manure pit. Only 37 years later was the body found and the crime uncovered. Now the perpetrator has to go to jail for life.
How cruel do you have to be? The former pig farmer David V.* (89) from England killed his wife Brenda V.* and then hid her in a manure pit. Now he has been sentenced to life imprisonment.
As the competent judge at Worcester Crown Court ruled on Wednesday, the senior can hope for release following 18 years at the earliest. He would then be 107 years old.
“Disgusting and disgusting”
The crime had already taken place in 1982. However, the woman’s body was not discovered until 37 years later, when the pit was being cleaned.
Her husband had stated at the time that his wife, who was suffering from depression, had left the house in the middle of the night and had not returned. He had reported her missing. He later blamed a known serial killer for the crime.
More stories with manure
According to the judge, however, the perpetrator wanted to get rid of his wife in order to avoid the difficulties of an impending divorce. The man also showed his complete lack of respect for the woman by throwing her in the manure pit. “The fact that you did this to her is disgusting and disgusting,” the judge said.
David V had sold the property and moved into a bungalow in the village. Apparently he was convinced that Brenda V.’s body would never be found. At the trial, it was revealed that the pig farmer “wanted his wife out of the way” because he was having an affair with another woman. (SDA/dzc/jmh)
