The singer shared a short message on her official Facebook page in which she explained that she might not be present due to a small health problem. She caught a microbe which unfortunately turned into loss of voice, obviously making it impossible to perform on stage with the Academicians.
She also had to cancel a show yesterday, Saturday, for the same reason.

“I was so looking forward to going on stage tonight for you, the people of St-Bruno. I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time…. This week I caught some little germ friends that turned into voice loss. I am in no condition to sing for you, neither tonight nor tomorrow at Star Académie. (I swear, you don’t want to hear me sing right now!). For all ticket holders, I invite you to contact the Center Marcel-Dulude ticket office, which will take care of you. I’m going to take care of my voice, I can’t wait to see you once more XX”, let know the one who just made herself known during the 2009 edition of the competition.
Brigitte was present to take part in the tribute number to Gerry Boulet, also featuring Dan Bigras, Claude Cobra, Breen Leboeuf and Daniel Boucher.
