FC Blau-Weiß Linz shows once more and once more that it is an approachable and down-to-earth club. This was the case once more at the public training session on Tuesday in the Lissfeld training center: More than 60 children were there and didn’t miss the opportunity to watch the professionals train up close.
But that’s not enough. The coaching team led by head coach Gerald Scheiblehner made it possible for the numerous children to train with the professionals in individual exercises and stations. Of course, there was also the opportunity to get autographs and photos with your favorite players before and following training, which put a special smile on most of their faces. “We are very pleased that numerous children attended the public training. This confirms the path we have taken in our growth strategy. As we all know, we are a hands-on club and it is therefore particularly important to us to make something like this possible for the fans. We want this approachability We also address new target groups and, in particular, bind the fans of the next generation to us. Especially for the little ones, it is a moment for eternity to be so close to the professionals and their idols. It will continue to be in consultation with the coaching team give public training every month,” says managing director Christoph Peschek.
“I don’t think it happens that often that children can train with professionals. It was a lot of fun for both our players and the children. The role we have as a club, as a coach or as a player is “We also set a role model, and we made good use of that,” says head coach Gerald Scheiblehner.
