The “Bridges of Good” campaign continues to mobilize in-kind aid to provide the humanitarian needs of those affected by the earthquake in Syria and Turkey, with the participation of volunteers of people of determination.
Yesterday, 30 young men and women from the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination participated in the “Bridges of Goodness” launched by the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, in the framework of strengthening the existing cooperation between the Red Crescent and the Foundation.
People of determination, during the volunteer work day at the headquarters of the Zayed Agricultural Center of the Agricultural and Vocational Rehabilitation Department of the Foundation, collected, sorted, prepared and packed dates to be sent to the areas affected by the earthquake as part of Operation Gallant Knight 2, which continues its relief supplies by air and sea for the benefit of those affected.
Abdullah Al-Masabi, Head of the Agricultural Rehabilitation Unit – Abu Dhabi at the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, explained that 30 young men and women affiliated with the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination contributed to packing and packaging a ton and a half of dates to be delivered to the Red Crescent Authority as part of the “Bridges of Good” campaign.
He said, in statements to Al-Ittihad, that the aim of this voluntary initiative is to activate the role of young people of determination and highlight their role as an active force in society, and to support community and humanitarian initiatives that stem from the land of the Emirates for the benefit of peoples affected by calamities, crises and natural disasters.
He pointed out that the initiative aims to enhance social communication, cooperation and belonging to the homeland, as it is a collective action that provides aid and human solidarity with others.
For her part, Abara Rashid Al Naqbi, Head of the Volunteer Coordination Unit at the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, praised the efforts of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination in the humanitarian fields, through its support for the Bridges of Good campaign.
Al-Naqbi stressed the importance of the role of people of determination in promoting the campaign through their participation in its activities. Noting the importance of cooperation and coordination between the two sides in various humanitarian fields.
For their part, people of determination participating in the volunteer campaign, including Aisha Al Hammadi and Shaima Al Ali, expressed their interest to be active members in the framework of the “Bridges of Good” campaign through their contribution to the packaging and packaging of dates.

The Emirates Red Crescent Authority confirmed the continuation of the “Bridges of Good” campaign to help those affected in Syria and Turkey, which requires the cooperation of all segments of society in the country, and assistance with in-kind and financial donations.
The “Bridges of Good” campaign came as part of the major relief operation “The Gallant Knight 2” launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, to save lives and alleviate the suffering of thousands of affected people and millions threatened by the repercussions of the disaster in both Syria and Turkey. .
