Students at the Linz University of Art have designed a room with various projects that provide a current reference to the questions raised by the artist group in the 1970s: True to the motto “Fresh Air”, the young artists will be presenting their work at the opening on October 5th (19th). p.m.) their new interpretations of how the fight for good air is politically waged, ideologically charged and economically justified.

The art university students’ projects now on display refer experimentally and critically, but also melancholically or humorously, to the explosiveness of the topic of good air and breathing.

Similar to Haus-Rucker-Co, the young artists also deal with the space that the air takes up – for example in the form of breathing architecture and apparatus, furniture for better breathing or series of experiments with mushroom mycelia. The exhibition also includes interactive activities, for example by asking visitors to draw their own breath.
