Asunción, IP Agency.- Professionals from the Family Health Unit (USF) of Capitán Giménez, department of Concepción, attended to users from the region in a day of care with gynecological consultations, family planning, prenatal and discussions on breast cancer prevention.
With the aim of promoting a comprehensive approach to health, addressing in addition to gynecological issues, extramural care was carried out at the USF Capitán Giménez, Horqueta district of the I Health Region, Concepción, where users from the area attended.
On this occasion, 20 samples were taken for PAP, 10 breast ultrasounds, 5 obstetrics, and 20 gynecological care. Guidance on family planning and rapid tests was also offered.
Some 40 boys and girls were evaluated by professionals from the PANI program, in addition to 3 pregnant women and 3 postpartum women, according to the report from the Ministry of Public Health.
The participants also received information about breast cancer prevention and breast self-examination in the waiting room with several discussions.
