Wago Contact announced in September 2022 its desire to expand its Domdidier site. The company specializing in connectivity and automation technologies will build a new hall dedicated to injection.
The company hopes to be able to start work in the fall of 2023. Commissioning is scheduled for late 2024 and, more likely, early 2025.
This extension will allow Wago Contact to almost double its production capacity in Broye. Established since 1977 in Domdidier, the company in the hands of the German group Wago employs some 500 people.
