Palakkad: Bail to Vidya, the accused in the case of forging a certificate in the name of Maharaja’s College. The Mannarkkad court has granted bail with conditions. The court granted bail with two sureties of Rs 50,000 each, not to repeat the same offense during this period or therefollowing, to appear before the investigating officers on alternate days in a week, not to leave Kerala, and to produce his passport. The court has given permission to the Nileswaram police to make an arrest. Vidya, who got bail in the Agali case, may be arrested by the Nileswaram police soon.
Vidya’s lawyer argued that he was ready to accept any conditions. The lawyer argued that bail should be given considering Vidya’s health, education and age. The lawyer argued that since he was in custody for two days, no more information might be found. Accepting all this, the court granted bail.
The prosecution had told the court that Vidya had admitted to forging the document. But following the case was filed, the prosecution replied to the court’s question whether the fake seal was found by saying that Vidya had destroyed the original. The prosecution informed the court that these were made online.
